In this Spanish film, two women in their 70s come out to their families and reveal their plans to get married. It is an entertaining shock to say the least. I was looking at the comments to see if anyone mentioned Fire. It's a story that hit me hard as a baby gay and I recommend it to everyone.
Should The Second Season Of ‘echoes’
Booksmart is a classic high school romp about geeky friends, Molly and Amy, who attempt to attend a cool high school party before they graduate. Molly and Amy both want to hook up with their crush, and it just so happens that Molly's run of the mill bro with a heart of gold is your run of the mill Aloof skater girl. The movie did a great job of treating Amy's story line as normal while not making it into a straight narrative. Amy reckons with specifically queer concerns, such as an equal level of interest and confusion as to what lesbian sex is, but those concerns aren't ruled by a fear of her queer identity.
Meester plays a lesbian in a friendship with Jacob's character, who's straight, and she starts to spiral when she starts spending more and more time with her boyfriend. It's heartbreaking and awkward, but it's really good. Last year's lesbian Christmas romantic comedy caused some controversy. No one film has to be everything, it's still a great movie to watch and fight over. You can totally skip the two seasons of the web series and jump right into this flick, but we recommend watching Anne’s entire trajectory.
